What you Are Saying:
Erik
My wife and I have just moved, and she found my flutes, and insisted that I play them again. I had forgotten over the years where they were, but now I sit on our back porch playing them. The lightest and most delicate of them is a diatonic C-scale side-blown that I must’ve picked up over 30 years ago from you personally back when your NY Ren Faire shop. I have rediscovered them, and baby each one, taking time to play them in rotation, communing once again with the Earth, and smiling thankfully that you are still bringing joy to so many people. Knowing you’re part of this world brings me comfort. Never stop. Blessed Be!

Hello, Erik!
You're flutes are great... how nice that little12 inch Small Major is. I never played a musical instrument before, so I wouldn't know what goes into reviewing one. I was able figure out how to get the embouchure on the first day. I have shrimpy, scrawny hands. I bought this one because I wasn't sure if I'd be able reach the tone holes. Anyone else out there that has shrimpy hands should be fine with this flute. I'm really happy with what I have. Thanks so much for making flutes fun.

Hello Erik,
I recently purchased a Starry Night- Small Major fife from you and am still stunned by it's craftsman ship. I would like to buy a love flute. I have been a musician for many years and I would like to have a native sound in my recordings.

Hello Erik!
My name is John and you have had a profound impact on my life and over the last decade and a half I have thought of you often with great appreciation. Fifteen years ago I bought my first bamboo flute from you at Scarborough Faire here in Texas . My soul ached to make music. I played that first flute I bought from you constantly for the next few years! It went everywhere with me ...the joy that has been gifted to my spirit by just being able to pull my flute out and let the music come out of me.
Perhaps you sometimes wonder what becomes of your instruments when they have gone on to their new homes? Maybe you question whether many who buy them really learn to love your artistic creations? Or which flutes are out there still burning with song and what songs do they sing now?
So I decided to write to you and let you know that this flute still sings, my friend. It sings its heart out! It sings with such passion! And it found in me a very good friend who loves and respects its sweet voice and loyal companionship.
I thank you with all my heart for the joy you've gifted me. It's meant more than you'll ever know. It has been my light in the darkness, my comfort in painful times, and my voice of celebration when I needed that too.
Thank you, Erik!

Dear Erik and teamwork,
Yesterday I got my first flutes from you: two Small Mayor and one Brazilian Mayor. Today, after some hours of playing, I discovered some important things about the flute and your work as flutemaker. One was how lovely and peaceful the sound of the bamboo flute is. Other was how amazing your work really is: through the Small Mayor, the Pennywhistle, the Kiowa, the Vivaldi, the Quena, the Bamboo Sax, and the Oriental you change and improve the quality of many lives around the world. My own heart was pricked by your extraordinary craft and music, so my way to thank you is sharing this gift of life (and faith) with others.
Peace, love and music, Manuel Sauceverde, Mexico DF.

Dear sir,
I bought a bamboo 12 inch flute from you at the ren fair and was playing it well by the time I got home. I just wanted to extend my thanks to you. I used to play the flute many moons ago back in high school... and was surprised at how easy it was to play this flute.. Once again THANK YOU for giving me the music back.

Erik,
I just received my small major flute and I couldn't be more pleased. I chose Starry Nights and the unique drawings made it even more gorgeous. It sounds great! I also enjoyed reading the literature you sent with your true life story included. You have a wonderful testimony! Your flutes are truly a blessing to many! My mom wants one now after hearing mine! God Bless!

Hi Erik,
I got the flute today!!!!!!!! I have to congratulate you on how truly amazing it is, I am still in awe of it now! The sound is absolutely beautiful, and I am very confident that my father will love it (if I haven't decided to keep it for myself by then!). The engraving is stunning, and it truly is a work of art. Thanks you so much for all of the time and effort you put into it, and don't worry, I'll be back for more!
Endless thanks. Jack Briggs United Kingdom March 30 2005
