This DVD teaches the basic principles of improvising on exotic scales.
The Kokin Flute in not taught specifically on the how to Dvd. But it is helpful.

I'm a fan of your flutes and live in Germany. I've had one of your Kokin flutes for about seven months now, and I would like to thank you for such a beautiful instrument. I hadn't until I found your site had the chance to own a bamboo flute myself, but had wanted one for years. The sound is beautiful and I enjoy playing. Since getting this flute I've come to realize it's quite easy to play, which makes the time I spend with the piece all the more enjoyable. Keep up the splendid work making your flutes!
